Ofcourse people are becoming more and more anxious in todays world, if you take things from the animalistic view of ourselves - our bodies were originally designed to hunt, eat, run away from predators and mate. Sure thing, i'm not suggesting we go back to that but we currently have an inescapable preditor, money; we can't beat it (unless by fluke or years and years of hard work which by that point our youth is spent anyway) we can only out run it - and if our bodies see it as a chase, where we always have to keep earning to survive, then the natural behaviour is to be anxious, highly alert, not relaxed.
Because basically you just can't live without it at the moment. Sure you could become self-suffcient but then you still have to pay for the land you live on because some other human being thinks that he/she owns it. I understand that the system needs to exist for certain reasons - but i'm pretty certain it doesn't need to be anywhere near as complex as it all is. Life used to be a lot simpler - and i think we make it far to hard on ourselves.
There should be an arm of the government that is there purely to find ways of making life easier; and people should agree that we would be a lot happier with out this constant fear of not being able to provide basic needs for our families - It needs to be a seperate arm as the rest of them are too tied up in buracracy, earning money, or trying to hold together someone elses crazy idea of a world. we don't really live anymore - we work. and when we do live it's at a speed that just isn't good.
